U.S. Official “EU Sec. 232 Stainless Steel Quotas”

SMR presents the U.S. official “EU Section 232 Stainless Steel Tariff Rate Quotas (TRQ)” for 2022 in a compact table.

The U.S. will apply the Steel Tariff Rate Quotas (TRQ) quarterly for EU and each quarter will have 25% of annual limit. Dates for first and second quarter are: Q1 (Jan 1 -Mar 31, 2022) and Q2 (Apr 1 -Jun 30, 2022).

Amongst total 54 steel products of TRQ, 17 of those are stainless steel products and they are listed below with product numbers from 24 to 40.

Update note: The U.S. reduced the quota for stainless steel wire rod. (39. Bars and rods, hot rolled, in irregularly wound coils.) Previous amount was 91,434 metric tons higher.
